Kate Scully, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Director of Audiology

Kate Scully received her Doctorate in Audiology in 2011 from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. She has practiced audiology since receiving her master’s degree in 2005 from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Dr. Scully completed her post master’s clinical fellowship year at the University of Michigan Medical Center in the Department of Otolaryngology & Audiology in 2006. During this time, she completed rotations in hearing aids, pediatrics, cochlear implants, vestibular testing, intraoperative monitoring, electrophysiology and newborn hearing screening. She earned her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The George Washington University in 2002. Her professional interests include hearing aids, adult diagnostics, assisted listening devices, otoacoustic emissions and ototoxic monitoring, hereditary/syndromic hearing loss and newborn hearing assessments. She also gained additional experience working with children with special needs including children with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and auditory processing disorders when she was employed at the former Spectrum Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Scully is licensed by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists. She is also nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). Dr. Scully has been with Hearing Center Silver Spring since 2006.

Megan Glascock, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Audiologist

Megan Glascock, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA received her Doctorate in Audiology from Towson University in 2009 following the completion of a 1-year clinical fellowship at Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Associates in Richmond, Virginia. During her 1-year fellowship, Megan gained experience with adult/pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations, electrophysiological testing, adult/pediatric hearing aid fittings, vestibular testing and newborn hearing screening. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Towson University in 2005.

Dr. Glascock is currently a member of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists. Dr. Glascock joined Hearing Center Silver Spring in June 2009.

Alicia Hutchins, Au.D.

Audiologist

Alicia Hutchins received her Doctorate in Audiology in 2006 from Salus University. She has been practicing Audiology since receiving her master’s degree in 1999 from the University of Maryland’s Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences. Her professional interests include newborn hearing assessments, pediatric and adult diagnostics, assistive listening technology, and electrophysiology.

Dr. Hutchins is licensed by the Maryland Board of Examiners for audiologists. She has worked at Hearing Center Silver Spring since 2003. She is currently employed part-time/per diem.

Rochelle Swilley, HIS

Rochelle Swilley is a hearing aid specialist and professional member of the International Hearing Society (IHS). She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics with a minor in Music from the University of Michigan in 2011. She studied speech-language pathology at the University of Virginia before pursuing a career in hearing healthcare.

Her professional interests include hearing protection, diagnostics, hearing aids, and assistive listening technology. Rochelle is licensed by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Hearing Aid Dispensers. She joined Hearing Center Silver Spring in 2022.
